New Market That Sells Small-Quantity Metals Opens In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A new supermarket that sells small-quantity metals has opened at 1085 Connecticut Ave., Unit 5E, in Bridgeport.

Metal Supermarkets, which the company says is the world’s largest supplier of small-quantity metals, sells more than 8,000 types and grades of metal, cut to each customer’s exact specifications, "with convenience, speed and world-class customer experience."

The Bridgeport location is owned by Ed DeStefano, an experienced Connecticut entrepreneur and resident, who also opened a Metal Supermarkets store in Danbury in June 2022. Metal Supermarkets aims to be the one-stop shop for local Bridgeport professionals, businesses and hobbyists alike, offering speed, variety and convenience.
