Gary loved Elvis Presley, the New York Yankees, and the New York Giants. His favorite Yankee was Mickey Mantle and his favorite Giant was Phil Simms. For the last several years, he would meet up with his high school friends at Duchess on Black Rock Turnpike in Fairfield every Tuesday, where they would chat about current events and reminisce about the old days. During the last few months of his life, Gary enjoyed doing puzzles with his family. They completed roughly seven puzzles ranging from 300 to 500 pieces each.

In addition to his loving wife, Denise, Gary's memory will be lovingly remembered by his son, Gary Clark, and his wife, Holly Sorbo; and his adored granddaughter, Melody Clark, all of Shelton.
