University of Bridgeport Student Killed In Shelton Crash
Part of Bridgeport Avenue remained closed as police investigate.

SHELTON, CT — A pedestrian was fatally struck in Shelton Tuesday night. Police responded to the area of 350 Bridgeport Ave. around 7:21 p.m. on a report of a multiple vehicle crash involving a pedestrian.
Pedestrian Bethapudi Naga, 27, of Waterbury was pronounced dead, police said. He is from India and was a student at University of Bridgeport.
Bridgeport Avenue remains closed Thursday morning from Platt Road to Cots Street as police investigate. No arrests have been made as of 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
