Woman Injured In Bridgeport Pit Bull Attack: Report
Authorities are investigating the incident, which occurred on Friday afternoon.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Bridgeport woman suffered neck, chest and other injuries Friday afternoon in a pit bull attack on Hallet and Arctic streets near Pembroke Avenue, reported News 12.
Samantha McNeill required two hours of surgery following the attack, and she has since been released from Bridgeport Hospital.
The Connecticut Post reported the owner of the two dogs — one described as beige in color and the other gray — did not pull the dogs off of McNeill, who was dragged into the street by them.

The incident, which reportedly lasted about 2 minutes, is under investigation by the Bridgeport Police Department's Animal Control Division.
