Yale New Haven Health Opens Retail Pharmacy At Bridgeport Hospital

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Yale New Haven Health has opened a new retail pharmacy at Bridgeport Hospital, providing prescription services to patients, hospital employees, and local residents.

The pharmacy, located on the hospital’s first floor, operates seven days a week. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is closed on holidays. Patients can contact the pharmacy at 203-384-4750, and prescription transfer requests can be faxed to 203-384-4757.

In addition to standard retail pharmacy services, the location offers access to Yale New Haven Health’s network of specialty and home infusion pharmacies. Patients filling prescriptions through the system can benefit from direct communication between the pharmacy and healthcare providers via the electronic medical record system Epic/MyChart, streamlining medication management and authorization approvals.

The Bridgeport Hospital location is the sixth retail pharmacy opened by Yale New Haven Health, joining locations at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital, the Saint Raphael campus of Yale New Haven Hospital, North Haven Medical Center, Outpatient Pharmacy Services in Hamden, and the Regional Operations Center in West Haven.
