1 Killed In Crash In Brookfield: State Police

BROOKFIELD, CT — A New Milford man was killed in a one-vehicle crash on Route 7 in Brookfield on Wednesday night, according to Connecticut State Police.

The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. on Route 7 North near Exit 11, according to police.

Caleb J. Anderson, 24, of New Milford, was driving a 2017 Kia Forte LX just north of Exit 11 when for an “unknown reason” it went into the median and struck the Junction Road overpass concrete support pillar, according to police.

Police said Anderson was taken to Danbury Hospital where he died from his injuries.
