4th Day Of 'Not Credible' Threats Made In Brookfield
The threats "continue to be widespread and are being sent to numerous entities around the country," according to town officials.
BROOKFIELD, CT — Town officials have reported they are continuing to receive threatening emails as of Wednesday morning.
School will continue as normal and Town Hall remains open.

School resource officers continue to work with school administration and town officials in implementing precautionary measures.
On Friday, a bomb threat, delivered via email to local news stations, resulted in the closing of Town Hall and the three public school campuses. After a sweep through the threatened area with bomb-sniffing dogs, police determined there was no danger.

Friday's scare was followed by a second threat, received Monday just before 10 a.m., that was "very similar to the email on Friday," according to town officials.
On Tuesday, the Brookfield Town Clerk's Office received a third threat, warning of bombs placed at various locations in both Brookfield and Danbury. That threat, too, was "not credible," according to police.
"The Brookfield Public Schools, the Town and the Brookfield Police Department continue to work collaboratively for the safety and well-being of all in our community," First Selectman Steve Dunn, Superintendent John Barile and Police Chief John Puglisi wrote in an email to the community Wednesday morning.
