announces open auditions for
AT THE WEDDING
by Bryna Turner
directed by Rae Janeil

Audition Dates: Sunday and Monday, March 2 & 3 from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m.
at the theatre located at 184 Whisconier Rd (Route 25), Brookfield, CT (by the Library)

Show Dates: Fri. & Sat. at 8PM and Sun. at 2PM, April 25 thru May 10, 2025.

You are cordially invited to the best day of someone else's life…but what if it's also the worst day of yours? Join Carlo as she attempts to make it through the night without drinking too much, talking too much, or trying to win back the bride.

Bryna Turner's bittersweet play, a laugh-out-loud comedy that nonetheless addresses some big issues, is for anyone who has ever attended a wedding...or had their heart broken.

CASTING: 4 w/2 m/1 any - non-binary actors welcome

Carlo - a wedding guest (she/her)
Carly - a bridesmaid (she/her)
Eli - a wedding guest (he/him)
Maria - mother of the bride (she/her)
Leigh - a wedding guest (they/them)
Eva - the bride (she/her
Victor - the cater-waiter for the evening (he/him)

Sides will be provided.

The Brookfield Theatre for the Arts, Inc. is an all volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing quality live performances and creative opportunities, rooted in cultural equity, to the Brookfield region. No experience is necessary and all are welcome to audition.

Covid-19 policy: Brookfield Theatre follows current CDC guidelines. Vaccination is recommended but not required.
