Audrey Elsie Marshall, 86, of Brookfield Passed Away Peacefully
Mrs. Marshall was an unpublished author, a crossword aficionado, and later in life was a member of the Brookfield Organ Club.

BROOKFIELD, CT — Audrey Elsie Marshall, age 86, of Brookfield passed peacefully at Candlewood Valley Healthcare Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Albert Marshall.Mrs. Marshall was born on March 7, 1930 in Stamford, a daughter of the late William and Elsie (Haff) Lettau.
A woman of many talents, she was an unpublished author of novels and short stories, a crossword aficionado, and later in life was a member of the Brookfield Organ Club at the Senior Center. She crocheted blankets for each member of her family and was a great cook. She was a loving mother and took joy in being a grandmother; she will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Marshall is survived by her 5 daughters: Linda Garippo of Ohio, Sheree Tucker (Peter) of New Mexico, Valerie Primerano of Torrington, Alene Marshall (Sue Hopponen) of New Milford, and Patti Cilenti (Guy) of Winsted; 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; a sister: Madeleine Riska of Danbury and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Albert, she is predeceased by 2 grandchildren: Jessica and Nicholas and 2 sisters: Williamena Eagen and Florence Robinson and a son-in-law Bill Garippo.

The Funeral Service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield. Burial in Central Cemetery followed.
