Beer Pong Buzz: Makers of Slip Cup Roll Out 40+ New Games Plus 3D Pong
Want to take your beer pong game to a whole new level? These five Brookfield brothers, creators of "Slip Cup," have just the cup for you.
BROOKFIELD, CT — A family that plays together stays together— especially when there's beer involved. Whether it's your frat fam, work fam or your real fam, one thing's certain, playing beer pong together is fun. And now the makers of the Slip Cup have a whole new way to play beer pong while keeping your ping pong ball clean.
Last year, the Treibt brothers, five young men from Brookfield, Connecticut, created the revolutionary new product to make beer pong cleaner and even more fun to play. They've now met all of their orders from their previous Kickstarter campaign and are back with a new one.
Everyone who's played beer pong knows how gross a ball can get when it drops to the floor of a dirty garage or dorm room. The last thing you want is that dirt in your drink. The Slip Cup provides a way to play cleaner by shielding the player’s drink with an insert so the ball never comes into contact with your beverage.

Chase Treibt is one of the five brothers and the one who came up with the idea. His brother Trevor said, “We have always had a dream of starting a business together. So obviously once we heard Chase’s great idea, we all jumped on it and began making the prototypes.”
Brothers Travis, Cole and Kade are working with Chase and Trevor to fund the manufacturing of the new Slip Cup through their Kickstarter campaign. When donors pledge money they will receive their own Slip Cup package as a perk. The original idea took more than eight months and 50 different prototypes to get the patent done. The new game Slip Cup offers red and blue colors for more team play, numbers inside the cups and an option to stack the cups for 3-D play.
