Brookfield Block Party Profits To Be Disbursed To 6 'Worthy Causes'

BROOKFIELD, CT — Town officials have tallied the receipts from the June 8 Block Party and are preparing to disburse the cash.

"Proceeds totaling $8,500 will be awarded at the July 7 Board of Selectmen meeting to six worthy causes who help make Brookfield the great town that it is," Brookfield community development specialist Greg Dembowski told Patch.

Dembowski also thanked the sponsors, vendors and volunteers who helped make this year’s event a success.

Organizers estimated Brookfield Block Party 2025 attendance at about 900, patronizing a record number of 64 vendors.
