Brookfield Car Fire Sends One Motorist To Hospital, Shuts Down Road

BROOKFIELD, CT — One motorist was taken to the hospital for evaluation following a car fire in Brookfield Sunday afternoon.

Brookfield Emergency Services were dispatched to the area of 14 Candlewood Lake Road, and closed off the road for a short time while they were operating, the Brookfield Volunteer Fire Company reported on Facebook.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brookfield Fire Marshal’s Office.
