Brookfield Democratic Town Committee Starts Municipal Election Campaign

The community is invited to spend time with Democratic candidates running for office in November.

From The Brookfield Democratic Town Committee: The Brookfield Democratic Town Committee will kick off its municipal election campaign at 1p.m. Sunday, July 9 at the Bandstand at Town Hall, 100 Pocono Rd., Brookfield.

The community is invited to spend time with like minded families and enjoy the amenities at the Town Hall Bandstand and Kids Kingdom Park while meeting Democratic candidates running for office in November. There will be a barbecue, raffles, games, and live music. The suggested donation is $35 per adult.

“This will be a great opportunity for residents to meet the candidates running for Board of Selectmen, Board of Education, Board of Finance, Town Clerk, and the land use boards and commissions” said Mike Zacchea, Brookfield Democratic Town Committee Chair.

“We have been working really hard to find Democrats who want to continue the progress we have made in town since the last election, and we look forward to introducing what we think is a fantastic slate of candidates to the community. We hope residents will come out with their children, enjoy a fun day in the park, and support our Democratic candidates.”

Zacchea also noted that Congresswoman Elizabeth Esty, Senator Richard Blumenthal, Senator Chris Murphy, and other public officials have been invited to the barbecue.
