Brookfield GOP Announces 2025 Slate Ahead of July 16 Caucus

Brookfield Republicans announce 2025 municipal candidates, including Karl Hinger for First Selectman; caucus set for July 16.

BROOKFIELD, CT — The Brookfield Republican Town Committee has released its list of recommended candidates for the 2025 municipal election, ahead of the Republican Caucus scheduled for July 16.

The committee expressed gratitude to current officeholders and first-time candidates who have stepped forward to run in the upcoming election.

The RTC's recommended slate includes Karl Hinger for First Selectman and Alan Donnelly for Selectman. Austin Monteiro and Tara Carr will also be on the ballot for First Selectman and Selectman, respectively.

Other recommended candidates are:

Board of Education: Joy Greenstein, Erin Scalera

Board of Finance: Glenn Rooney, Brianna Ruocco, Michael Barnes, John Mascolo

Zoning and Planning Commission: Geoff Hunton, Gregory Petriccione, Dionisio Fontana, Elliott Morales (2-year term)

Zoning Board of Appeals: Liam Enea, Andrew Koehm, Terrance Petiprin

Board of Assessment Appeals: Jeff Bronn

Only registered Republicans in Brookfield are eligible to vote at the caucus, which will determine the final ballot for the general election.
