Brookfield Library Hosts 'The UFO Experience'

Stephen Spignesi returns to the library to present a new program based on his acclaimed book, The UFO Experience. The University of New Haven professor will talk about five types of close encounters, unexplained sightings by astronauts, pilots and military personnel, baffling abduction cases, Jimmy Carter and celebrity UFO sightings, crop circles, the latest on Roswell, the Face on Mars and much more, including an awesome slideshow.

Stephen Spignesi is a New York Times bestselling author who writes about historical biography, popular culture, television, film, American and world history, and contemporary fiction. He is a university professor, novelist, poet, screenwriter, and musician. He wrote for the New York Times, the New York Daily News, the New York Post, and the New Haven Register. In addition to writing, Spignesi also lectures on a variety of popular culture and historical subjects and is a retired Practitioner in Residence from the University of New Haven. Spignesi lives in New Haven, Connecticut with his grey cat, Chloe.
