Brookfield Man Arrested In Newtown Hit-And-Run Crash: Police
The suspect was arrested on a warrant in connection with the Oct. 2 crash in Newtown that seriously injured a bicyclist.

NEWTOWN, CT — A 49-year-old Brookfield man was arrested on a warrant last week by Newtown police in connection with a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a bicyclist, according to authorities.
Police said the crash occurred on Oct. 2 on Church Hill Road in Newtown when Sazo Ajdinoski, of Laurel Hill Road, "made an improper turn and collided" with the bicyclist.
The identity of the bicyclist, and the extent of the victim's injuries, were not disclosed.

Ajdinoski surrendered to Newtown police on Dec. 1, and was charged with:
- Making an improper turn
- Evading responsibility - serious physical injury
- Interfering with a police officer
He was released after posting bond on bail of $500, and is scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court on Dec. 15.
