[Updated] Brookfield Snowstorm Central
The latest information on how the snow storm, dubbed Hercules by the National Weather Service, is impacting schools, roads and businesses.

Update as of 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 2:
The Board of Education meeting set for Thursday night has been rescheduled to Tuesday, Jan. 7, at 7 p.m. in the high school media center.
Due to the change, the public hearing set for Jan. 7 has been moved to the board's regular meeting on Jan. 15.
Gov. Dannel P. Malloy also ordered the partial opening of the State Emergency Operations Center this afternoon.

Bethel schools are on an early dismissal schedule due to the snowstorm.
The storm is expected to dump up to a foot of snow over the next 36-48 hours, according to forecasts.
