There may be some showers and storms this weekend in Brookfield— we'll let you know when you might need your umbrella.
BROOKFIELD, CT — Connecticut’s weekend forecast looks to be a bit volatile as there will be a few chances for showers and thunderstorms throughout the weekend. However, the chance for storms and rain is relatively low with the greatest chance occurring late Friday and early Saturday and late Saturday and early Sunday. The sun will also make some appearances too. It’s just going to be a mixed bag of weather. The temps will approach 90 degrees Friday before falling back into the mid 80s this weekend.
WTNH News 8 Meteorologist Gil Simmons said Friday that this weekend we can expect, “More humidity! Are you sick of it? I am! Highs around 90° today. A scattered shower or thunderstorm moving through tonight-early tomorrow morning. Sun and clouds for your Saturday with temperatures in the 80s. A round of showers late Saturday night & early Sunday morning followed by sunshine for Sunday afternoon."
