Car In Fatal Brookfield Hit-And-Run Identified
Police have determined the vehicle they are looking for in an investigation into a crash that took the life of a Brookfield woman.

BROOKFIELD, CT — Police have identified the car they are looking for in a fatal hit-and-run investigation. Police said the vehicle of interest is a four-door sedan with a turn signal on the side or side mirror.
The car may have damage to the front bumper, hood, or windshield.
While not directly identifying the victim, police said she was a 55-year-old woman who was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver on Sandy Lane and Homestead Lane last Monday night. Family members later identified the victim as 55-year-old Linda Richardson.

Richardson was disabled, and did not have a will. Residents and supporters have raised over $8,000 through a gofundme page to cover Richardson's funeral expenses.
