Celebration of Life in Memory of Shirley Zaccara

In memory of Shirley Zaccara, a long-time Brookfield resident, her family will hold a Celebration of Life on November 22, beginning at 1:00 ET at the Congregational Church of Brookfield (160 Whisconier Road, Brookfield, CT, 06804).

Shirley was highly engaged in the Brookfield community as a decades-long real estate broker, a volunteer at voting polls, and a member of the League of Women Voters. One of her top priorities was spending time with friends and family in fellowship and faith at the Congregational Church of Brookfield. A private internment of ashes, alongside Shirley’s husband, Tony, will be held at the Memorial Garden at the church.

Shirley’s family welcomes donations in her honor to the church's Book of Remembrance. Twice a year a memorial service is held during the Sunday morning worship, at which time these gifts are recognized and dedicated, and those memorialized are remembered in prayer.
