EXPECT DELAYS: New Road Work Scheduled In Brookfield

BROOKFIELD, CT — The Public Works Department will be closing Silvermine Road from Route 25 to Oak Grove Road on Thursday, Oct. 16, beginning at 9:00 a.m. for tree removal, the Brookfield Police Department is advising motorists.

The closure is expected to last a few hours, and detours will be in place, and posted along the roadway. Local traffic can access area homes via Silvermine at Oak Grove Road.
