BROOKFIELD, CT — The Brookfield Volunteer Fire Department is warning motorists away from Route 133.

The roadway is closed from Obtuse Road North/South to Obtuse Rocks Road due to a car accident.

The single-vehicle crash has compromised a utility pole, according to fire officials posting on Facebook around 1 p.m. Wednesday.
