WESTON, CT — Independence Day is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on in and around Weston, Redding and Easton for 2023.
We gathered up all the fireworks shows and festivals happening in and around the area so you can start planning now.
Weston's Family 4th Celebration, presented by Weston Parks & Rec, will be held Tuesday, July 4, at Weston Middle School Field.

Gates will open at 4:30 p.m., but there will be no entry from Lords Highway after 7 p.m. — School Road and Route 57 only.
Cash-only ticket gates will open on School Road at 4:30 p.m. Parking and admission will be $20 per car, or $5 for walk-in admission. There will be no charge for children 5 and younger. Bring a chair or blanket, but be advised there will be no sitting on the artificial turf fields.

From 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., food will be available for purchase from local food trucks, including Weenie Lynn's, Walrus BBQ, and Tony's Pizza Napolitano, among others.

7:15 - 9:20 p.m.: Big Deal Rock

Rain date for Weston's Family 4th Celebration is July 5.
The 7th Annual Redding Historical Society's Rock'n Roots Revival and Fireworks Show will be held Saturday, July 8, at Lonetown Farm, 34 Lonetown Road, in Redding.
Live music will begin at 3:00 p.m., and the fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.
Admission is $20, children under 12 are free. For the fireworks show only, admission is $20 per car.
Rain date for the Redding Rock'n Roots Revival and Fireworks Show is Sunday, July 9.
