Foncello Campaign Meets Election Funding Threshold
Rep. Martin Foncello has announced his re-election campaign has met the threshold to qualify for funds from The Citizen's Election Program.

Martin Foncello, current CT State Representative for the 107th House District, has announced that his re-election campaign reached the SEEC threshold in early April to qualify for funds from the Citizen’s Election Program or CEP, well in advance of the upcoming convention on May 16th.

Marty has a long record of public service in both the military and civilian sectors. He served two terms as Brookfield First Selectman from December 1999 to December 2003. Following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, Lieutenant Colonel Foncello was called to Active Duty in Washington, D.C., where he served as an Intelligence Officer with the Army’s Intelligence & Security Command. Marty was able to continue his duties as First Selectman during his tour in Washington. After leaving elected office, Marty accepted a senior position in the newly created Department of Homeland Security (DHS) within their Office of Intelligence & Analysis. He was assigned to New York City where he provided intelligence support to the NYPD, FDNY and other federal, state and local agencies.
In 2022, Marty ran a successful campaign to represent the 107th and in his tenure in the State Legislature in Hartford, has served on the following very active committees:- Aging
- Appropriations
- Education
Throughout the last 2 years he has interacted with his fellow CT State Representatives and Senators, especially those in the surrounding towns of Bethel, Newtown, Danbury, New Fairfield, New Milford and Southbury.

Marty looks forward to continue serving the people in his District and representing them in Hartford. “I’m proud of what we have accomplished in Hartford during this term but there is still much more to do,” he said. “I want to keep fighting for seniors, children, taxpayers and veterans, and for public safety in our community. I have the experience, the vision and the passion to make a difference.” Marty thanks his followers for their support over the past 2 years and asks for their continued support for all Republican candidates running in the upcoming November election.
