Funds Being Raised For Brookfield Woman Killed In Crash

BROOKFIELD, CT — The family of the woman killed in a hit-and-run crash Monday night in Brookfield is raising funds for her funeral arrangements. Kelly Fletcher Richardson has started a gofundme page to raise funds for funeral arrangements for Linda Richardson, who Kelly Fletcher Richardson identified as the woman killed in the crash.

Police are still looking to identify the driver of the car that struck the 55-year-old woman, whom they did not identify.

"My husband Stephen is the last person to ask anyone for help," Kelly Fletcher Richardson wrote. "But [he] is beside himself with grief and at a loss of what to do. Thank you all for your support, prayers and help."

She went on to say that Linda Richardson was disabled, and did not have a will. There were no funds available for her funeral arrangements.
