Junk To Bring High-Energy 90s And 2000s Rock To Brookfield Concerts In The Park
Junk will perform 90s–2000s alt rock hits at Municipal Center bandstand in Brookfield.
BROOKFIELD, CT — Fans of 1990s and early 2000s alternative rock can relive the soundtrack of their youth when Junk takes the stage July 11, as part of the 2025 Brookfield Concerts in the Park series.
The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. at the bandstand on the grounds of the Brookfield Municipal Center, 100 Pocono Road. The free summer concert series is presented by Brookfield Parks & Recreation and sponsored by Union Savings Bank. The July 11 performance is additionally sponsored by Expedia Cruises and Orthopaedic Specialists of Connecticut & Interventional Pain Management.
Junk is known for delivering high-energy renditions of iconic hits from bands like Nirvana, Green Day, Blink-182, Foo Fighters, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. The four-piece band, based in Connecticut, prides itself on reviving the raw sound and attitude of the alt-rock era with a setlist packed full of radio favorites, deep cuts, and a few unexpected crowd-pleasers.

Describing themselves as “a nostalgic punch in the face,” Junk aims to recreate the live rock experience of the late 20th century, complete with gritty guitars, powerful vocals, and a commitment to keeping the music loud and authentic.
