Obituary: Steven M. Lima, 62, Of Brookfield
Steven spent his entire 44-year career with the Barden Corporation and retired in April 2023.

BROOKFIELD, CT — Steven M. Lima of Brookfield left this world suddenly on April 14, 2024 at the age of 62. He was a caring son, father, brother, uncle, partner and friend.
Steven is survived by his son, Steven M. (Michele) Lima of Naugatuck; his daughter, Chante M. Lima of Waterbury; his grandchildren: Saniah, Camryn, Devin and Aiyana; his parents, Richard M. and Pauline I. (Halpen) Lima of Brookfield; his grandmother Eileen I. Lima, his longtime partner, Robin Millard, his siblings David Lima and partner Terri Passante, Robin Lima and husband Shawn Sullivan, Stacy Lucas and husband Mark Lucas, and Brian Lima; and many nieces and nephews.

Steven was born to Richard and Pauline Lima on June 12, 1961, in Fall River, MA. He was a talented student athlete who loved playing soccer, baseball and hockey. He was proud to have inspired change to Brookfield High School’s attendance policy in his senior year. In his free time, Steven enjoyed working on cars and reading. He loved spending summers at Race Point Beach on Cape Cod, camping and fishing. Steven spent his entire 44-year career with the Barden Corporation and retired in April 2023.
As an adult, Steven discovered a passion for photography; his camera and lens were always close by. His favorite subjects to photograph were his family, sunrises and sunsets. He cherished the time he had with his children and grandchildren. He was a generous man who was always willing to lend a helping hand to family and friends, new and old. Steven will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him.

Steven’s family will host a Memorial Gathering on Sunday, May 5, 2024, from noon to 3:00 p.m. at Green Funeral Home 57 Main St., Danbury.
