Owls Nest brings a mix of Americana, blues, and retro rock to Brookfield's Concerts in the Park
BROOKFIELD, CT — A blend of Americana, blues, and vintage rock is on tap Friday, Aug. 8, as Owls Nest headlines the next installment of the 2025 Brookfield Concerts in the Park series.
The free outdoor show begins at 6:30 p.m. at the bandstand on the grounds of the Brookfield Municipal Center, 100 Pocono Road. The summer concert series is presented by Brookfield Parks & Recreation and sponsored by Union Savings Bank. The Aug. 8 concert is additionally supported by the Brookfield Lions Club, Matson Financial Advisers, Inc., and State Farm Insurance.
Owls Nest is known for its energetic live performances that fuse elements of retro rock, classic blues, and roots-based Americana. Based in Connecticut, the band features a mix of seasoned musicians who bring a vintage flair to every show, along with a repertoire that includes original songs and familiar covers with a fresh twist.

According to the band’s Facebook page, Owls Nest aims to create a warm, nostalgic atmosphere for audiences while still delivering tight musicianship and foot-stomping rhythms.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics. In case of inclement weather, updates will be posted by Brookfield Parks & Recreation on its website and social media platforms.
