‱ CT residents join ‘ICE Out for Good' protests after fatal shooting of Renee Good (wshu.org) — Brookfield is among roughly a dozen Connecticut communities where organizers planned ‘ICE Out for Good’ protests following the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good by an ICE officer in Minneapolis. A major rally in Fairfield drew more than 100 people, with speakers condemning federal immigration enforcement, calling for accountability and a trial, and vowing to continue weekly demonstrations across the state.
