Why are you seeking this office?
To enhance the educational experience for all of Brookfield's children
To bring common sense to the Board of Education using my experience in finance, strategy, and negotiations
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post? My goal is to be a unifying force on the Board of Education and in the community. I believe that it is most critical to work together and compromise for the betterment of our town. For too long, the Brookfield Board of Education has been a source of division. Change is needed so that we can focus on putting the needs of the children above petty politics.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign? Key issues facing include the superintendent search, expansion of the gas compressor station, and keeping taxes low through responsible fiscal planning
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
1. Successfully negotiated many large scale public and private M&A transactions
2. Skilled at creative deal structuring and negotiations
3. Experienced with corporate finance, budgets and legal contracts
4. Compassion from years of treating adults and children with orthopaedic conditions
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions? I believe in listening to others and hearing many perspectives prior to making decisions. Logic and reason should prevail over emotion and passion. That being said, it is critical to be efficient to be effective. Paralysis by analysis does not lead to successful outcomes. I will bring hard work, dedication, and courage to the Board of Education for the betterment of our students and teachers. They deserve the best opportunity to succeed.
