Cheryl L. Vikaros, 79, was a Stadley Rough Elementary School teacher. She was a literacy advocate who pioneered young author and illustrator conferences, and a literacy curriculum used statewide.
John (Jack) Patrick O'Keefe, 89, served as a Marist Brother for 13 years, and was head of the Science Department at Christ the King High School in Brooklyn, NY. He was also the recipient of several National Science Foundation Awards throughout his teaching career, later working at Union Carbide Corporation.
