State Rep. Mitch Bolinsky Endorses Tara Carr For Re-Election

It’s with great enthusiasm that I endorse Tara Carr for re-election as Brookfield’s First Selectman!

Despite coming into this job at the height of the Pandemic, Tara proved herself “up to the task”, forging important working relationships with stakeholders in and around Brookfield and successfully navigating the incredible challenges of working with and around a shuttered state government. She did this in uncertain times - for the good of ALL Brookfield residents. As an elected state official, it was back then I became one of her many supporters, collaborating in our mutual interest of serving our respective constituents.

When I first met Tara, I was taken by her strong dedication to service, to her community and, as a decorated Army Officer, to our nation. She’s a natural leader; a good listener with an open mind; as honest as the day is long; fair; and a super-hard worker. In a very short time, she’s earned the respect of local leaders in our neighboring towns - a subtle asset that has untold value to the people of Brookfield. Re-Electing Tara Carr is simply Brookfield’s best path forward.

Finally, I believe we are all fortunate to live in small towns. In Brookfield you not only get to know your neighbors but you also get to know your leaders. If you have not yet gotten to know Tara Carr, “the person”, you should. She’s a caring public servant, a loving wife and mom. She and her husband are both former combat veterans and, she and her family are as American as apple pie. These are “good people” and, for my money, the kind of folks we all want as neighbors.
