Veterans Concert Set For Brookfield Sunday

Description Musician Billy Michael will perform at a free concert to honor local Brookfield and area veterans on Sunday afternoon, November 5, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. The performance will be held in the community room of the Brookfield Public Library, located at 182 Whisconier Road (Rt.25). The event is part of the Community’s 14 th annual Veteran’s program, “A Musical Salute to Veterans”, sponsored by the Brookfield Historical Society and the Brookfield Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10201. Michael, will present a selection of popular and patriotic music. Also joining the group will be Soprano Arianna Carlo a recent graduated from Western Connecticut University and the Jazz for Juniors female singers In addition, two wartime area veterans will be honored for their military service. Following the performance complimentary refreshments will be served. The public is invited to attend to support our veterans and the local men and women currently serving in the Armed Forces.
