Adaptive Kayaking Event Slated In Canton Tuesday

A well-known kayak/canoe operation in Collinsville is hosting 'Canton Adaptive Kayak Day' for local residents with disabilities.

CANTON, CT — A popular local canoe/kayak shop on the Farmington River is hosting a special event Tuesday for paddling enthusiasts with disabilities.

Collinsville Canoe & Kayak, located at 41 Bridge St., Canton, is hosting "Canton Adaptive Kayak Day" on Tuesday, July 22, with free kayak/canoe options for Canton residents with disabilities.

Start times for the program are 4 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and 5 p.m., and spaces are limited.

The program is made possible by a grant from the Canton Community Health Fund, Inc., and in conjunction with Summit Adaptive Sports.
