Affordable Housing In Canton Topic Of Forum Next Week

The town is looking to gather community input as it tries to address the issue of affordable housing locally.

CANTON, CT — The Town of Canton is trying to address the problem of affordable housing in town by hosting a special forum on the topic next week.

As a result, it is hosting a forum on affordable housing on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at the Canton Community Center, 40 Dyer Ave., from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

"We need you to provide your voice and insights to help address the critical housing issues confronting our town," wrote town officials in an announcement.

The evening will include a presentation on housing and market data and interactive in-person activities.
