Washburn Road will be open to local traffic only, which in this case refers to residents of the street and side roads on both sides of the bridge for the duration of the project.

Vehicles will only be able to go as far as the bridge when traveling from Lawton Road or Notch Road and there will be no through traffic.

The bridge itself will be inaccessible.

The project term is tentatively scheduled to run from June 30 - Nov. 30, although the contractor will work to have the bridge opened as soon as possible.

A detour route will be in place, and motorists are asked to look for the detour signs that will be set up.
