CANTON, CT — A well-traveled piece of state roadway in Canton is being eyed for possible improvements and local leaders want the public's help toward that end.

That's why the Capital Region Council of Governments (CRCOG), the state Department of Transportation, and the Town of Canton want locals to take an online survey to offer input on a proposed Route 44 corridor study.

Specifically, officials are conducting a transportation corridor study of the Route 44, and Dowd Avenue area in the Town of Canton.
