Canton Announces July 4 Holiday Impacts
The Fourth of July holiday is on Friday, July 4, this year.
CANTON, CT — With America celebrating another birthday this Friday, July 4, comes announced municipal impacts regarding services in town.
Canton Town Hall and all departments will be closed on Friday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.
The Canton Public Library will also be closed on Friday, July 4, as well as on Saturday, July 5.

Library officials this week urged folks to "stop in before then to stock up on books for the long weekend."
And one more thing, the library has a "selection of lawn games" to borrow for those having Fourth of July celebrations at home.
