Canton/Burlington Animal Control Seeks Wish List Items For Dog Pound

The regional, two-town department has updated its Amazon.com wish list, with the public being asked to help out.

CANTON/BURLINGTON, CT — The regional animal control department that covers both Burlington and Canton has fine-tuned its Amazon.com wish list and it is hoping the public can help.

The Burlington & Canton Animal Control Department operates its shelter at Burlington Town Hall, 200 Spielman Highway, Burlington.

Earlier this month, Burlington & Canton Animal Control Officer Katie Meskun said the shelter has been cleaned up and organized.

And, she said, there is a new wish list on Amazon.com that the public can use to purchase items to help out the department.

"It's been a very busy few months, but we finally got around to a major cleanup at the shelter storage area," Meskun wrote via Facebook.

"After pulling inventory and making an assessment of where we are at, we've updated our Amazon wish list. Our shelves could use some food, treats and other miscellaneous items."
