Canton Dems To Host Candidate Forum This Week

The Canton Democratic Town Committee is hosting the event at the Canton Community Center.

CANTON, CT — The Canton Democratic Town Committee is hosting a candidate forum with the 2025 slate of Democratic hopefuls in next month's municipal elections.

Residents will be able to learn more about the background, qualifications, and vision of Democratic candidates for the board of selectmen, board of finance, and board of education.

The event will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m. at the Canton Community Center, 40 Dyer Ave., Collinsville.

Members of the audience will have an opportunity to submit questions to the candidates.

"This forum promises to allow voters to hear directly from the candidates on the challenges facing the town and the solutions our Democratic candidates have to offer," wrote the Canton Democratic Town Committee in an announcement.

Those expected to attend are:

• Board of selectmen: Sarah Faulkner, Sarah Hague.

• Board of finance: Bob Namnoum, Brian McCullough, Michael Pendell

• Board of education: Felicia Jordan, Michelle Kulak, Ali Barker
