Canton Dollars for Scholars Announces 2018 Scholarship Winners

Canton Dollars for Scholars announced the recipients of the 2018 scholarships at the Canton High School during the Senior Scholarship Awards Ceremony. This was a great group of students moving on to further education with a strong record of success in high school. Canton Dollars for Scholars is funded through community support and through your generosity, we were able to award significantly more scholarships this year. We look forward to increased participation in our newest community fundraiser, the Collinsville Trick or Trot 5K, near the end of October. This will allow us to award even more scholarships next year.

Canton Dollars for Scholars seeks the well-rounded student who is achieving his or her personal best grades while serving the school, community and the greater good. CDFS focuses on school involvement, work and community commitments.

The students receiving scholarships from Canton Dollars for Scholars in 2018 are Christine Babbitt, Jeanne Bedard, Drew Bidmead, Seth Biega, Timothy Biondo, Gracey Boman, Erin Coleman, Rowan Cookman, Brina Donovan, Shannon Downey, Bailey Edgren, Jane Frawley, Katelyn Kosior, Belle Magna, Katherine Mankowski, Jack Mansur, Sara Melendez, Gabriel Mesa, Connor O'Brien, Anna Poleyestewa, Abigail Treacy, Andres Tuccillo and Lindsay Vacca.
