Canton's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will host a free presentation on emergency preparedness.

CANTON, CT — With the Farmington River rushing through most of the town, Canton is one community that knows what Mother Nature can do and what she will do.

As a result, a Canton forum for Emergency Preparedness Month next week carries just a bit more importance.

The all-volunteer Canton Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will host a free presentation on Tuesday, Sept. 16, on emergency preparedness and how the community can help.
