CANTON, CT — A plant sale Saturday could go a long way toward beutifying your home and garden and helping a local garden club beautify your community.

The Cherry Brook Garden Club is hosting its annual plant sale on Saturday, May 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine (and it appears rain is in the forecast).

The event will take place at the Masonic Lodge, located at 123 River Road, Canton.

For sale is a wide array of shade or sun perennials, herbs, houseplants and garden-related items.

Proceeds support the club's civic beautification efforts, educational programs and its scholarship fund.
