Canton To Host Election Ballot Lottery

CANTON, CT — One of many steps in the municipal election process will happen in Canton on Tuesday, Sept. 16.

That's when the registrar of voters and the town clerk of Canton, in accordance with state election laws, will host a public lottery at 10 a.m. at Canton Town Hall, 4 Market St., regarding the upcoming November election ballot.

The lottery will take place in the registrar of voters’ office to determine the order of names of candidates on the ballot for the Nov. 4, 2 municipal election for the following offices: Board of Selectmen; Board of Finance; Board of Education; and Board of Assessment Appeals

The lottery is open to the public.
