Canton Intermediate School's 7th Annual R.O.C.K. (Rock On to Cure Kids) fundraiser raised $11,000 for the the Connecticut Children's Medical Center's Pediatric Oncology Unit, according to an e-mail from Valley Sports Center.  The event, also known as the Rock-A-Thon, was held at the venue for the first time Friday night.  Through 4 p.m. on Monday April 8, Valley Sports will also donate an additional $5 for each CIS student who registers for a full week of one of VSC's summer camps.  Register online at <a href="http://www.valleysportscenter.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.valleysportscenter.com</a> or call(860) 693-2378.
