A talent show at Canton Middle School this week netted $533 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
The event, held Wednesday night, was Austyn Contrastano's Odyssey project, for which 8th graders explore career paths and/or give back to the community.
In all, the show featured more than 20 performers. Funds were raised through show admission and donations.
"We raised money for a good cause," Contrastano said. "Everyone enjoyed that and got to show their talents. It's a win, win for everyone."
