The funds will help CT Dog Gone Rescue continue to have the necessary resources to help bring man’s best friend home.
“The generous donations will help us enhance our kennel traps. We aim to design and construct larger kennel traps specifically for extremely skittish dogs, as well as stronger kennel traps using horse fencing for larger breeds,” said Carol Ferrucci, president of CT Dog Gone Recovery. “We also wish to acquire extra batteries for our drone, as it consumes power quickly. Having several batteries on hand will allow us to extend our search time for lost dogs by easily swapping them out during flights.”
Officials with the East Hartford-based credit union said CT Dog Gone Recovery is a worthy beneficiary.
“Through our American Eagle Cash Back to the Community program, we are able to provide support to nonprofit organizations in our community,” said Howard Brady, President & CEO of American Eagle Financial Credit Union.
“Dogs are part of our families, and when they go missing, a piece of our heart is lost. Organizations such as CT Dog Gone Recovery are providing a huge resource to these families.”
