Canton PD Collecting Unused, Expired Drugs Saturday

The town is participating in National Drug Takeback Day on Saturday, April 26.

CANTON, CT — The Canton Police Department, in partnership with the federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), will be participating in the annual National Drug Take Back Day this Saturday.

On Saturday, April 26, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., police will be accepting old, unneeded, unused prescription medications, at the green collection box located in the lobby of the Canton Police Department, 45 River Road, Canton.

Those who are unable to make it during these specific hours on National Prescription Drug Take Back Day can still take advantage of the collection deposit box year-round.

This service is always free and anonymous, and liquids, needles, and sharps will not be accepted.
