Canton Police Create Email Address For Public To Report Unsafe Driving
Anyone who spots a speeding, distracted or otherwise unsafe driver is asked to email the department with as much information as possible.

CANTON, CT — To combat unsafe driving, the Canton Police Department has created an email address for residents to report speeding, distracted or otherwise reckless drivers.
Anyone who spots an unsafe driver can email stopspeeders@townofcantonct.org.
Police are asking the public to provide as much information as they can — including the date, time and location of the offense; the frequency of offenses; the vehicle's direction of travel; its license plate; and its make and model.
"The Canton Police Department will use this information to conduct follow-up investigation and appropriate enforcement action," the police department said on Facebook.
