Canton Program To Look At Home Composting
A free program/demonstration on composting will take place Thursday, April 20, at the Canton Community Center.

CANTON, CT — A program late Thursday afternoon, April 20, will teach folks how to create and maintain home composting piles.
Composting is not only an environmentally sound means to dispose of biodegradable waste, it can enhance soil and allow for home-grown produce to fill your fridge.
Canton's sustainable waste management committee is hosting a University of Connecticut representative to discuss and demonstrate composting at the Canton Community Center, which is located at 40 Dyer Ave.
